Tanken med denna uppsats är att försöka få en inblick i vilka funktioner musiken fyller i TV-dramat. Det finns en del studier att tillgå om filmmusik men ytterst lite om just musik inom TV-serier. Mitt syfte är således att undersöka vad för slags musik som används i TV-dramer, i vilka sammanhang den förekommer och dess relation i förhållande till det som utspelar sig i bild. Utöver det tar jag delvis upp diskussioner om huruvida vi ska uppfatta filmmusik medvetet eller inte. I och med det har viss vikt lagts vid att studera eventuella skillnader i upplevelsen och användandet av instrumentalmusik och populärmusik. Till mitt arbete har jag använt mig av tidigare forskning kring filmmusik och gjort en jämförande analys av polisserierna Miami Vice och Life on mars.

Den här uppsatsen belyser hur svensk dagspress har uppmärksammat Internationella kvinnodagen den 8 mars åren 1978, 1988, 1998, 2008 och 2013 för att se om det går att utläsa någon skillnad i rapporteringen över tid. De dagstidningar som undersöks är Dagens Nyheter, Göteborgs-Posten, Svenska Dagbladet, Sydsvenskan Snällposten och Västerbottens-Kuriren för ett rikstäckande perspektiv.I studien kombineras diskursteori och nyhetsvärderingsteori för att förstå utvecklingen av dagspressens rapportering den 8 mars.Resultatet av innehållsanalysen visar att Internationella kvinnodagen har fått en normaliserad ställning i dagspressens nyhetsvärdering den 8 mars. Vi kan konstatera att dagspressens förutsättningar för rapporteringen i samband med Internationella kvinnodagen har förändrats sedan år 1978. I vår samtid tycks det närmast omöjligt att inte uppmärksamma Internationella kvinnodagen den 8 mars, vilket inte var fallet år 1978. Detta sätter vi i sammanhang med dagordningsteorin om publikens antagna förväntningar på medierna, samt teorin om att diskurser utgör ramar om vad som är möjligt att säga eller inte säga i särskilda sammanhang.

En analys av pressmeddelanden från Länsstyrelsen i VästraGötalands län.Författare: Ida Lenhoff och Lisa Sahlén.Kurs: Examensarbete i medie- och kommunikationsvetenskap.Termin: Vårterminen 2013.Handledare: Jan Strid.Sidantal: 46 sidor.Syfte: Att analysera det genomslag som Länsstyrelsen i Västra Götalands länspressmeddelanden fått, från 1 mars 2012 till 1 mars 2013, i tre olika dagstidningar i länet.Metod och material: Kvantitativ innehållsanalys. 78 pressmeddelanden från 1 mars 2012 till1 mars 2013 i de tre dagstidningarna Göteborgs-Posten, Bohusläningen och Mariestads-Tidningen.Huvudresultat: Huvudresultatet i undersökningen av Länsstyrelsen i Västra Götalands län visade att 28 pressmeddelanden av 78 utskickade genererade 36 artiklar i de tre undersökta tidningarna. Fördelning av artiklar mellan de tre tidningarna var jämn och den artikelstorlek som blev mest publicerade var notiser. Den kategori som det skrevs flest pressmeddelandenom var djur och natur, men procentuellt sett genererade pressmeddelandena om miljö och klimat flest artiklar.

Sveriges Försvarsmakt har innan 2000-talet inte haft något formellt fastställt dokument som beskriver hur verksamheten skall utövas såväl i krig som i fred.  I och med 2002-års utgåva av militärstrategisk doktrin fastställdes att grunden för Försvarsmaktens agerande skall vara manövertänkande. 2004 drabbades Kosovo av upplopp runt om i provinsen, varav den svenska bataljonen SWEBAT, var inblandade i strider kring byn Caglavica. Vid tillfället var flera svenska chefer upp till brigadnivå, involverade i beslutsprocesserna som skedde under incidenten.Huvudsyftet med denna uppsats är att söka svar på huruvida den svenska officerskåren faktiskt tillämpar våra doktriner under insats. Frågeställningen är framtagen att utröna i hur stor utsträckning manövertänkande existerade och nyttjades på de olika ledningsnivåerna vid kravallerna i Caglavica 2004, likväl i hur stor grad det inte nyttjades.Med utgångspunkt i militärstrategisk doktrin har ett antal indikatorer på manövertänkande valts ut för att appliceras på framtagen fallstudie, vilken grundas på FHS rapport Caglavica 17 mars 2004.Resultatet av uppsatsen visar på ett assimilerat manövertänkande inom den svenska officerskåren under insats i Kosovo..

The book describes how quality of life is experienced from the patients and staffs view. Results The text analysis showed that out of the ordinary descriptions of quality of life, the author found four new themes. These themes where; the meaning of solidarity, confidence, activity and meaningfulness in the existence. Conclusion Quality of life is an important word, which means different to different kind of people.

Do youths know what life values their parents have? Does this knowledge have a connection with the youth?s attachment to their parents? Do the youth?s life values differ from their parents? And could the youth?s life values affect how they estimate their parent?s life values? To answer these questions data from a survey were used. The respondents were 13-15 years old youths and their parents. The results show that youths do not know what life values their parents have, irrespective of if the attachment to them is good or bad. The results also show that the youth?s own life values to a high extend affect how they estimate their parent?s life values.

Lot?s of reasons are showing that outdoor life has a positive influence on the general publics health and studies are confirming this theory. On the other hand there are a few amount of Swedish science project?s regarding outdoor life. The aim of this study was to examine how people feel that their health influences by outdoor life.

AbstractThe aim of this review was to describe how quality of life is experienced among patients with diabetes type 2. Literature search was made in Medline and the keywords used were ?diabetes mellitus type 2? and ?quality of life?. Abstract This is a qualitative study of elderly people's experiences of loneliness and quality of life. Also the relationship between loneliness and quality of life are examined. Previous research has shown that social loneliness is about when the social context are lost while emotional loneliness can occur with the loss of close relationships. Quality of life is about a sense of connection but also the quality of life arises in the difference between the expectation of what one is and what one wishes to have. This study has shown that the interviewees preferences, activities, social networks and low expectations on their life situation makes interviewees perceive themselves to be less lonely and have a good quality of life.
